So, after 4 years of living in a house that is way too small for us and all our junk we are finally moving on up. Nate and I have wanted to move for a while now, but lacked the motivation to do anything about it. Now with two tiny babies who are showing signs of desperately wanting to be on the move we figured it was time!
Nate and I saw a great house for rent a few weeks ago. The babies and I went to go look at it. I had an appointment to view the house at 3:30 one day...I don't do these types of things often obviously and now I know why. I got there a couple minutes before 3:30 and saw no other vehicles around. I for some reason figured the Realtor was running late so I waited in my car. Connor decided he didn't like being in his car seat so we were playing in the drivers seat while Grey slept away. 15 minutes later and still no signs of her I got the bright idea to go knock on the door. To my stupidity, she had been in there all along. This is why I don't do things on my own. I'm probably the only person alive who wouldn't go knock on the door in the first place. For all I knew the Realtor could have flown a jet pack to work that day and left her car at home.
Anyways, the house was great. We put in an application and I talked her into lowering the price by 200 bucks! I really didn't think we would get in that house, but she called and said we were good to go!
This whole back story is leading up to my main point. We're moving. We have A LOT of stuff. We also have two tiny babies who never seem to want to be without us for longer than 10 minutes. Therefore packing is not going as speedy as I'd like. Not to mention, we have accumulated tons of garbage...well, mostly just stuff that doesn't work or we have no need to keep. There will have to be at least 3 dump runs in our near future. And why are dumpsters so dang expensive!? Hopefully we can get everything done and the house cleaned over the next 2.5 weeks! I don't have much faith in that, but it will have to get done somehow!
On a brighter side, I'm stoked to move into a nice place where the boys have room to play. I'm also stoked that there is a park right across the street and an elementary school around the corner. If the boys grew up in our current house I'm pretty sure they'd be dealing drugs to Mexicans by Kindergarten.
