5 montharoonies

So, my little boys are 5 months old already! I know every parent says "they grow up so fast" but it's the truth! I can't believe how much they've grown in these past months-- They've gone from 6 pounds to 13, which isn't very big in baby land, but it's big to me. They absolutely cannot wait until they can start moving. They are desperately trying to crawl or scoot around, but just aren't strong enough and that makes them mad! I have a feeling I'm going to have early crawlers and walkers on my hands in the next few months. They aren't liking to snuggle with me much these days and that makes me a little sad :( We used to snuggle all day long! Oh well, there's always Nilla around for that ;)

I had to take the boys to Target with me the other day for an emergency wipe run. I haven't really taken them out to a store like that by myself because their car seats are so big I can't fit anything into the cart with them in there. And as cool as it looks, I don't feel like being one of those super multiples moms who push their stroller with one hand and haul a shopping cart behind them with the other. So, for this wipe run I decided to strap Greyson in my front carrier and let Connor ride in the shopping cart. This made enough room for my wipes and a few extras! I'm sure I looked amazing with Grey riding around and Connor snoozing away in the shopping cart. However, this was my first outing where I did not get any "twinarazzi" [thanks Nancy for the awesome word!] hounding me. It was secretly pleasing, but I also was a little shocked at my lack of annoying comments. I almost missed the "ooo are those twins" ringing in my ears. I'm sure my lack of attention was just a fluke since it was early in the morning. We all know that the twinarazzi aren't early risers. Anyways, I can't wait until the boys can sit up alone without their car seats so I don't have to look like a total dweeb as I shop.
